Tuesday Mornings, from 10:00-10:45am: Read & Create; Art for Ages 2-5
Literature based art programs facilitated by Lisette Young, program director for the former Fayetteville Museum of Art.  Classes will begin with a story to inspire and art project.  January's theme is Winter Wonderland.  $6 for museum members and $8 for the public.  Reserve your spot by calling 829-9171.
 
Saturday, Feb. 11, from 11:00am to 1:00pm: Make It Take It
Stop by our craft table to make a Valentine's Day card for your best friend, Mom or Dad, or anyone who has touched your heart.  Free with museum admission.
 
Saturday, Jan. 21, from 11:00am-1:00pm: Super Science Saturday
Kitchen Chemistry.  We are going to take the scary out of Chemistry.  Join us for kid friendly chemistry experiments you can expand on at home.
 
Friday, Feb. 24, from 7:00pmam-9:00pm: Fourth Friday
Stop by while supporting downtown businesses for some play and a craft.  Admission is free.
 

COME AND SEE THE TRAINS!  Feb. 4th and 18th

The Cape Fear Railroaders host an Open House on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm.  They are located on the 3rd floor of Fascinate-U Children's Museum.  Their scale model trains include a winter wonderland and Thomas the Train layouts.

Free, unless you stay and play in the museum - General Admission: $2.00 for adults, $3.00 for children

Saturday, Mar. 10, from 11:00am to 1:00pm: Make It Take It
Join us at the craft table to make a fun St. Patrick's Day craft that is sure to bring you luck.  Free with museum admission.
 
Saturday, Mar. 17, from 11:00am-1:00pm: Super Science Saturday
Pi explorations! It's a mysterious number that scientists are still calculating.  It is used in geometry, physics, engineering and more.  Learn all about Pi and create a pi bracelet, pi mobile and more!
 
Friday, Mar. 23, from 7:00pm-9:00pm: Fourth Friday
Join us at the craft table to celebrate the arrival of spring.  Children will use their imagination to decorate paper eggs with the bright colors of spring.  Admission is free.
