                            11:00 - 11:50 am   4-5 year olds                    

1:00 - 3:00 pm    6-12 year olds 

      Cost is: $6 member/per class  $8 non-member/per class

Military Appreciation Weekend

Make a Blue Star Flag!

May 9th, 10th, and 11th

Free admission with Military ID!

Free admission to all military personnel and their families.

We will be making Blue Star Flags to take home and hang in your window to denote that a family member is serving in the armed forces. This tradition originated in WWI.

 

 

Make-It Take-It

May Flowers

Sat., May 10th

11 am until 2 pm

Join us as we make and decorate "May Flowers" out of colored paper, pipe cleaners, markers and glitter.

All materials will be provided.

Free with paid admission and always free for our members.

 

Super Science Saturday

Dissecting Owl Pellets

Sat., May 17th

11:00 am until 1:00 pm

Join us here as we explore samples of soil from the downtown area to see what types of life forms exist in this ecosystem.

Then, dissect an owl pellet to see how nature recycles itself.

Free with paid admission or membership.

 

Fourth Friday

Design-A-Windsock

Fri., May 30th

7 pm until 9 pm

FREE!

This month we will be creating windsocks from construction paper and streamers.

Take yours home to hang in a special spot!

All materials are provided and refreshments will be served.

The Cape Fear Railroaders host an Open House on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm.

They are located on the 3rd floor of Fascinate-U.

Free, unless you stay and play in the museum.
