What age range is the museum suitable for?

Fascinate-U is designed for children from birth to 12 years of age, although some exhibits may be appropriate for younger or older children.

What are the museum hours?

The Museum is open Tuesdays to Fridays from 9 am to 5 pm, Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm and Sundays from 12 pm to 5 pm. We are closed on Mondays.

Where is Fascinate-U located?

The Museum is located in downtown Fayetteville, NC at 116 Green Street, next to the Market House and minutes away from the 82nd Airborne Museum.

Where can I park my car?

There is paid parking in front of the Museum as well as in the back. Paid parking in Downtown Fayetteville NC is in effect from 9am-9pm Monday through Friday. The parking rate is $1 per hour, with an off-street max of $5/day. Parking is free on Weekends and City Holidays, but may be subject to special event rates. First hour is free in the Franklin Deck.

What is your admissions policy?

Fascinate-U’s exhibits and programs are designed for children from birth to twelve years of age. The admission policy is as follows:

Children must be accompanied by a relative or caregiver age 16+ years old. We do not allow anyone over 16+ in the museum without a child in their group.

How much is admission and what is included in the price?

Admission for children from 1 to 15 years of age is $5 and for anyone from 16+ is $4. Children younger than one receive free admission. Members can access the Museum for free year-round.

Admission includes access to all exhibits, science workshops, and early childhood programs

Do you offer any discounts?

Group rates based on a minimum of 15 children will get a special rate of $4 per child with one adult free for every five children ($1 each additional adult). Booking is subject to availability, and groups should get in touch 4-8 weeks in advance of their desired visit date and pay a 50% deposit.

Additionally, to ensure the price of admission is not a barrier for families, Fascinate-U offers free play on Wednesdays from 1 to 5 pm.

Do you offer any special play for toddlers?

We have a Toddler Room designed specifically for ages zero to four. This room is a miniature version of a house, with small-scale furniture and accessories that are perfect for little ones.

Are food and drinks allowed in the museum?

We only allow eating and drinking in our party room during birthday parties. Food and drinks are not allowed in the exhibit areas; however, we have water fountains available next to the Army site and next to the elevator in the back of the museum.

Are strollers allowed in the museum?

Yes, we allow strollers in the museum, although some exhibits may require strollers to be parked outside the exhibit area.

Is photography allowed in the museum?

Yes, not only you are allowed to take pictures but we will also love it if you share them in our social media!

Are service animals allowed?

We only allow service animals. No emotional support animals are allowed.

Are there restrooms available in the museum?

Yes, and we have changing tables in both, Boys and Girls restrooms.

Does the museum offer birthday parties?

Yes, the Museum offers birthday parties on Saturdays and Sundays. We recommend you to book your birthday parties two months in advance. For more information please visit our BIRTHDAY PARTIES page.

Do you offer field trips?

Does the museum offer items such as family memberships for auctions?

Fascinate-U welcomes requests for membership donations from schools and organizations with a 501c3 or equivalent status.  These requests need to be submitted in writing and must be on official letterhead.

Is Fascinate-U a 501(c)3?

Yes, the Museum’s is a non-profit organization. Earned revenue covers a portion of the Museum’s operating costs and generous donations make our high-quality exhibits and programs possible.

Is there a dress code for visiting the museum?

There is no official dress code for visiting the museum, but it's recommended that visitors wear comfortable clothing and shoes that allow them to move around easily. Additionally, please keep in mind this is a children’s museum and dress appropriately.

How long should we plan to spend at the museum?

The amount of time visitors spend at a children's museum can vary depending on the age of their children, but most visitors plan to spend at least two hours exploring the exhibits.
